At the end of the 70's Inocencio Urigoitia, ("Ino") came up with the idea of a steak house right in the centre of Bilbao.
With his entrepreneurial spirit, he had the courage and energy needed to set up KERREN in a former banana warehouse, a pioneering steak house in Bilbao and today one of the most emblematic ones of its type.
Doing things properly and using the finest ingredients was his modus operandi which remains today in this restaurant ... where it can still be felt.
Times change, fashions and people change, but there are customs which manage to remain over the course of time. Like Ino, we enjoy the good life and fine dining our families and friends.
The live coals, the stone walls and the grills on the tables bearr witness to this.
